Super Ten

Description: 

1/10 scale 2wd and 4wd entry-level trucks with race modifications allowed.  This class showcases the 2wd and 4wd trucks RTR trucks from leading manufacturers that typically get shelved at racetracks in favor of the expensive race platforms. Stock Slash vehicles from Level 3 can be upgraded to compete in this class, and the electronics used in this class match those used in spec Buggy class.

Rules:

  • Brushed Electronics: Any brushed ESC allowed.  All models of 12T 550 brushed motors allowed.
  • Brushless Motors: Fixed-Timing 21.5T brushless motors from this list only: Hobbywing Justock, Hobbywing Quicrun, Ruddog RP540, and Rocket Supersonic. 
  • Brushless ESC: Hobbywing Xerun XR10 Justock G3 (60A) or Hobbywing Quicrun 10BL60 only.
  • Tires (2wd models): 2wd vehicles may use stock RTR tires from any of the approved models, or the spec “Tovo Ppoxes” tires in carpet style or road course style. 
  • Tires (4wd models): 4wd vehicles must use their platform’s stock RTR tires (no Traxxas S1 Racing Compound)
  • Wheel hex: No 17mm hex conversions – vehicles must retain stock wheel hex size (Arrma Senton may convert to 12mm hex)
  • Servo: Open servo.
  • Radio system: Open radio.
  • Chassis: LCG chassis conversions allowed for Slash 2wd (Traxxas kit only).  Otherwise, stock OEM chassis required, no modifications or removal of material.
  • Body: Custom bodies ok, all body styles allowed 
  • Internals: Vehicles must retain stock differentials and transmission gears.  Aftermarket tranny cases ok on Slash.
